Here are a few things you missed, me going from one part of the world to the other. Crossing continents is an arduous journey, I really felt like disoriented as the sun never went down for the 16 hour flights from D.C. to Detroit to Nagoya to Manila seemed like they would never end. But alas my mom and I made it to Manila in good time too. Taking a picture of the Boss Coffee sign when we touched down in Japan was a must for me. Boss Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in Japan and is the only beverage to have Tommy Lee Jones as it’s spokesperson. It was one of the first signs of culture shock…I was now in Asia.
